| Has my NF7-S bios corrupted? I was benching my pc at 10x230fsb @ 1.725v's(It ran smoothly for weeks at 11x210 fsb @ 1.7v's) I left the room came back 5 mins later and my pc monitor was off.The monitor light was flashing on off amber as if i had switched off my pc and left the monitor on.I did a hard restart but no post.Everything powers up,fans spin, dvd dvrive flashes and spins, hard drive spins, gfx card fans spins.Mobo red light and green lights light up.Just no bloody post.Ive reset cmos, removed battery, left it out for a few hours but still no post.Stole my daughters pc off her tried my ram,cpu and gfx card in this and this pc posts so it cant be them.(x800 pro,2500xp and 1gig of ocz ram in a ecs mobo lol)I tried booting with no h/s on my cpu to see if i got any alarms and within seconds of switching my pc on it turned off and set off the beep beep alarm. So after everything ive tried today ive come up with it must be my bios has corrupted. Anyone got any more ideas.Ive searched thru hexus and tried everything ive found but still no bloody post. Can anyone fix corrupted bios's? The pc was running smoothly as well.Running doom 3 nicely and this goes and happens. any help would be gratefully recieved. Farts are like children.....You always love you're Own.!!! | Best thing to try is start the PC up and keep the insert key pressed. This should hopefully clear the bios and settings that have caused the system to crash out and return it to factory default settings. |
