    Antec Sonata case, power problems

Right I am currently putting my new system together, got all the vital parts today. The case for this system is an Antec Sonata with supplied 380w psu. Everything seemed fine, until I opened the case up and noticed it was supplied with a US 125v power cable

Upon reading the manual it says the red supply voltage switch should be either set to 115v for US, or 230v for Europe. It is currently set at 115v.

What I want to know is, if I use a standard UK power cable, and set the psu voltage switch to 230v will I be alright? I don't want to go through the hassle of returning the case purely to get the correct power cable when I have loads around. At the same time, I don't want to risk frying any of my new kit.

You will know doubt be hearing from me again soon, this is my first system build from scratch and I will no doubt have issues

Cheers everyone, help very much appreciated :d

Yea just switch it over to 230v,if you keep it at 115v there will be a rather large bang.

Done that on my first PC when I was 15.... Wondered what the little slidy thing was on the back and pushed it whilst it was switched on

    Lovely puff of smoke

Kimo - it wont have been supplied with the 125v PSU, its probably just been pushed over during packing.
