ZoneAlarm firewall once caused me all maner of BSOD problems, BSOD errors ranging from NTFS.sys, ACPI.sys, USB, IRQL_DRIVER_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. An uninstall of that software solved it. Backup up your files to a second HDD and reinstall Windows. Install and test applications in an iterative way and see if the problem returns. It may not return at all and reinstall may solve it.

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Do you actually have any USB devices connected?

Can you disable USB in your BIOS?

Are there alternative (older) USB drivers, or even BIOS revisions for your mobo that you can try?
