| Hi, Hope someone can kindly help with this? Bought a new computer. All fine. Then I get a message asking me to update my bios. Aha I thought, better make a recovery disk of bios (which I did). Bios upgrade seemed to work but there was a CMOS error. Not to worry I thought. I will reflash from the floppy. Which I did. Now however, my SATA HD is not being recognised at all. I have loaded in the bios defaults. The Primary IDE is set to Auto but the drive is not found. I have looked endlessly for a SATA setting but cannot find one in the Bios. I looked on the Maxtor website and found the drive settings but alas the numbers I am asked to enter are too big! How do I get my Bios to recognise my SATA hard drive. It isn't a broken HD as this was working fine until the BIOS flash. My HD is a 250Gb Maxtor My Motherboard is a 865PE-Neo3 and my bios is AMI. Any help would be really really appreciated. Thanks Argy |

| it should say what the exact board name is between either the first or second pci slots in big white letters and it will say the proper model number (MS-####) between the last pci slots |
