| Has anyone else noticed that with BIOS 711 when you start trying to overclock the gfx PCIe drops down to 1x? Is there anyway to solve this? There's various posts about it on xtremesystems but I none of them made any difference to my setup |

| It happened on earlier revisions as well, although I never got to the bottom of under exactly what circumstances. I think if you keep the PCI-E speed at 100-105, you shouldn't have it happen, at least that worked for me. You might get away with more, my PCI-E raid controller throws an extra spanner in the works for me when overclocking the PCI-E bus. | I think when I have a few minutes I'm going to see if I can figure out which option actually causes it then go search for a solution....have contacted Asus tech support about it as well. |
