Got any pics of the inside?
I heard that the rev meter or speedometer is like an equaliser rather than a dial

It's sad. I'm just far to sensible
I could so easily PX my Golf and get a new car, but then i think about the money being wasted on depreciation. Even if i did swallow the cash, I would end up with an A4 Avant or something...... I'm single and 27! why don't i have the urge to get a little sports car like that?? Me, jealous of Coco? nah....

I bought it as an "all in one" sports/practical car.
Well as practical as a 2seater can be lol. I wasn't using the VX as much as I should have, and as I do less milage generally now, I could afford to go back to a sports car etc. I don't intend to track it (I did 4 with the VX), but you never know!

oooh........nice
![]() Not quite as all out as the VX, but stylish and horribly sexy ![]() And as you said.....240bhp from 2litres with no turbo, just revs, could become addictive. Did you cry as the VX left? I would have

Ah my Dad had one, fun car
![]() Bit la-la-lary in the wet. He spun it off once joining the on-ramp on the A1(M), luckily went up the grass verge rather than the other way off the ramp Only resulted in a small dent and some paintwork scratches though!

Zak,
you know what it's like... I did actually feel really sad as the vx drove away ![]() Although, I knew I was doing the right thing when I drove her to Ipswich (where I met the buyer, as I was working there)... I had some VERY buttclenching moments on the M4 in some torrential rain. I think, that as long as you realise the S is a different type of car to the VX then there won't be any disappointment. 6.2sec 0-60 isn't slow by any stretch, but she WILL handle very differently to the VX. I've got the summer to get used to the S before it gets wet/greasy/icy etc. I'm hoping that the experience gained with the rawness of the VX will stand me in good stead with the S.

I had 2 offs in the VX....
1 on a wet roundabout at 30, change of camber had me going backwards. 2nd one was backwards at the end of the main straight at Silverstone at about 100mph! Seriously tho, I've learnt a LOT from the VX, and thats all through the pinpoint handling and feedback from the car.

Nice Coco, I wonder how this would compare to the Boxster 2.7 - same headline figure of 240bhp, but how they go about it is completely different
