Re: Calibra Progress *!= 56k*
the engine is second hand but is has had some stuff done to it internally.
3.0 litre cams (more aggressive) enlarged inlet and throttle body (these are quite restrictive as standard) 4 bar fpr (better fueling) these three mods alone should see it up to around 200bhp. As a FWD car im not wanting to go too far. The flywheel has gone from 16kg down to 5.4kg, and hooked up with the 6 speed box from the turbo it should accelerate quite quickly ![]() its pointless me taking it further without changing any drivetrain stuff. As you can see im changing the wishbones, arb links, cv boots and brake discs, as well as lowering it 40mm so it should handle quite well (for a calibra )Its going to look great, sound great and go fairly well. ![]() |

Re: Calibra Progress *!= 56k*
i doubt im going to get decent fuel economy in this car if i had an 8th or 9th gear
![]() Im not bothered about saving the world with low emissions or having a car which will do 100mpg and will be really good to a person if run over... i just want a fairly fast good looking car! |
