right todays progress... getting there now! Not too many pictures as most of it was just doing bits and bobs but as you all should know thats what takes the most time!
heres how shes standing at the moment... ![]() first off i attached the oil pressure sender... ![]() next we started putting the driveshafts back together and sticking them in the car... ![]() new boots of course ![]() ![]() old v6 engines make great tables ![]() ![]() and in they go.. ![]() next it was time to have a good old go at the exhaust. This took most of the day and the sudden downpours didn't help ![]() ![]() eventually we got it all sorted and back on ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next the radiator and fan go in.. ![]() Spark plugs... ![]() and the inlet... ![]() Not too far to go now before shes back on the road Then i can concentrate on the bodywork.Hopefully another week and she'll be started and ready for her mot

right got some more done tonight but im a bit annoyed. Had to take the inlet off again to get the traction control motor which means i chipped the paint
Also ive really hurt my finger trying to get the throttle body on and i spent far too long on it all ![]() Things are so close yet so far and its beginning to bug me! Right! First off i stuck the oil filter on and connected up all loose connections. I also attached the loom to the inlet. Next i cleaned out the throttle body as it was filthy... ![]() to.. ![]() Next i assembled the air tract... ![]() On Goes the TC Motor ![]() And after much arsing about the throttlebody ![]() On with the ducting... ![]() ![]() And thats a good few hours gone! Fed up now! Off to bed |

hope your finger doesn't look like mine.. the end was chopped off when I was 2.
door + sister closing it = no end of finger + you can see the bone.. how close are you to getting the engine growling?.. post a video of it if you can, me wants to hear it purrrrr.. you cleaned the oil and muck of your chest yet? got any pictures of the cleaned up version? for my sister you understand.... keep up the good work fraggie... |
