    Morgan cars at flowershow

first off - annoyed at Bentley and lotus because they switched with Morgan. I could have had a go in the new lotus evora, but they are both getting ready for Frankfurt Motorshow on 11th September so they didn't come to southport this year, the 'Bentley Arnage drophead' that was here on wednesday was one of the exhibitors so I couldn't get photos today because he had parked off in the eco-centre round the corner, but i can assure you it is very nice and comfortable inside

second - I have been working hard at southport flowershow since Thursday, finally got enough time to have a wander around today to get some (crappy) photos of a couple of Morgans, including the new(ish) Aero 8.. Here they are - and sorry for the pinkness and blurred nature of them, its my sisters camera and i have no idea how to use it properly.. (damn double press button)

    Aero 8 - all £75,000 of it..

thats it.. you'll have to guess which one is which because I haven't the foggiest.

the video of the 'Aero 8' revving its engine got corrupted, so you'll have to make do with this youtube one.. I've had to listen to it revving up every half hour for the past 4 days.. at least it keeps you alert..

sooo.. any HEXITES got or want a morgan? start at £25k upto £85k for the aero 8.

Ignoring the annoying bits of pink they are some nice photos and cars! I can appreciate why people like morgon, old looking but a modern car. Doesnt really appeal to me, I'd spend my money if it was going spare on a nice track monster like a radical, noble m15 or my personal fav the m12 gto.

I was walking around the Morgan factory and there were massive pallets of AP calipers and disks lying around - I had to make a concerted effort not to pick any up because I couldnt stop drooling

    Re: Morgan cars at flowershow

I've only ever been round the jaguar factory in Liverpool. They had a plastecine s-type on show, and what i have only recently realised was a prototype XKR before they announced it.

also realised that the morgan dealers who had the cars at the show, their showroom is around the corner from where i work (its down a side street so its easy to miss it for 3 years!) so you may get less blurry/less pink pictures popping up.. might be able to get information about the morgan lifecar if anyones interested.. (no promises though)

    this one..

Your camera (Fuji S602) may have been affected by the bad batch of Sony CCD sensors - these were all recalled in a number of cameras - but it also affected cameras that weren't recalled for repair - it's possible that if you contact Fuji they may repair for free...

    Re: Morgan cars at flowershow

was going to ask how you knew which camera i was using, but I found out myself..

thanks for the info about faulty sensors, I will pass that along to my sister who incidentally has never got pinkness on any of her photos in sunny conditions using the exact same settings as i did.. she set the camera up so all i had to do was press the annoying double click button.

    Re: Morgan cars at flowershow

In response to the question ''would I like a Morgan?'' the answer is most definately yes! Love the AeroMax it looks very different and very daring but has great lines and my jaw dropped when I first saw it on paper! I like the way Morgan is venturing into the alternative power fieldas they are a Manufacturer that has traditionally been associated with the gas guzlling V8's.
