Re: The 7 Worst Ways to Mod Your Car

Hmm...a couple of those I kinda don't agree with being "worst way" to modify. There is usually a good way and the "wrong way". For example, the clutch for one is a good idea if you like to track day your daily driver (like me). I got my stock clutch to overheat and slip during a trackday at Goodwood. I also really cooked it when I took the car for a drifting session.

I think it was unfair to use the RX7 video for bad exhaust note. From the sounds of the video, the RX7 has either been Bridge Ported or Peripheral Ported (which is a good thing if you care not for MPG but BHP). Could have used a nova with fart cannon as a better example.

The truck with the nutz...well...silly...and the show car with wings was overkill but it's a show car not track car.

i did see a civic with a super huge spoiler, bigger than that EG, as if he thinks the car is gonna fly...

Once you got a Mac, you won't go back (apart from playing games, of course).

That lumpy idle probably is a second opening, yes. But the pipe still makes it sound like a chainsaw

I've watched the Apex'i FD3S driven by Imamura and that sounds like many other FD's, a loud scooter/lawn mower. It's just the way they sound but I agree with you the pipe on that particular video didn't sound terrific.
