Although Raikkonen drove near perfectly in the 2nd half of the season, it was also Hamilton/McLaren errors that helped him win. You don't win with such a large deficit with the current points system without a competitor failing to score their potential.

I'd somewhat agree with the wheelbase theory - even in the dry it seems to cause the strangest behaviour - in Melbourne both Ferrari's rarely seemed to be pointing in the right direction as well...

My predication for the race is that Lewis will fail to score, Massa to be in the top 3.

I hope Heiki finishes in the top 3

Be brilliant if Vettel ends up in the top 3 as well.

As far as Kimi, saw his skills in the last GP (before he dunked it into the wall) so quite possible he could pull a few points today.

EDIT: The Merc Safety Car sounds AWESOME!!! I want one.

EDIT 2: Some fantastic racing so far. Clean overtakes on a not very dry track. Whatever Ferrari have done to their cars, it really favours how Massa drives; he is really quick as Kimi seems to struggle.

EDIT 3: Go go vettel!!! 2 Laps to go!!!!

EDIT 4: Brilliant!!! Vettel won! Heiki 2nd, Kubica 3rd! Brilliant racing.

What a freakin' star! There is no ifs and buts about that win, and hopefully it'll be the first of many many more!

Yeah I must admit I'm suprised (given earlier statements) but he did a fantastic job, it was just a shame Heiki couldn't make him work a bit harder for it lol

Hamilton though before his first stop being up the gear box of Vettel, well, that was quite a drive Shame the tyre's wern't in his favour else that could have been a very interesting finish.

Awesome stuff. Doubt there's a driver in the paddock who would be unhappy about that drive.

Got to feel sorry for Bordais though. He's fighting for his place in the team and sport, he sticks it on the 2nd row, has one of the fastest cars all day, but can't get off the line. Could have been 2 Toro Rossos on the podium!

The tyres didn't fall for Hamilton here in the same way that they did when he crashed in Monaco. What goes around comes around. Was excellent seeing him fight through though! Bit naughty on Webber at the end mind. Could have sent one of them sky high.

I don't think I've seen so many drivers on the victory lap show their congratulations to the winner, they all love him.

It was good to hear the German / Italian combo theme again, maybe a sign to come. Hopefully Michael Schumacher's ties with Ferrari will get him a drive for 2011

I always think the best thing about Hamilton winning is that we only have to hear one anthem, as they are all so boring.
