    Coulthard eats Kravitz

Amusing to see the ITV 'reporters' getting on so well

I appreciate it’s not realistic to expect all F1 journalists to be ex-F1 drivers, but I do feel a bit more humility would be in order when offering opinions that are not based on facts.

Well I reckon that James Allen, Kravitz and Co will more than likley be replaced by someone in the BBC, lets hope to god that they dont move there.

He just sounds peeved that a nobody is pushing his "expert opinion" about, who really has no business in doing so due to lack of any qualification on the subject..

The good news is, next year DC's joining the BBC commentary team

The even better news is, no more James "The Cock" Allen!

    *parties*

The BBC has finalised its team of presenters for its coverage of Formula 1 from next year, it has been claimed, with Martin Brundle and David Coulthard on the bill - but no James Allen, Steve Rider or Mark Blundell.

With the Beeb set to reclaim the rights to broadcast the world's most expensive sport from ITV in 2009 - on a five-year contract - it has been revealed by Pitpass that the presenting team will be composed of ITV-F1 favourite Brundle alongside BBC Radio Five Live stalwart Jonathan Legard in the commentary booth, soon-to-retire Red Bull Racing ace Coulthard and Jake Humphrey fronting the programme in the studio and Lee McKenzie reprising the roles of Louise Goodman and Ted Kravitz as pit-lane reporter.

Oh good no more Mark blundell.

He's got a way of saying things what is quite annoying to me. If you didn't notice it before you will now

Since that was reported, Brundle has denied that he's agreed anything for next year, and Coulthard is apparently tied down as an on location consultant for Red Bull, whereas the reports claim the BBC presenters won't be travelling (only the commentators and pit reporter (supposedly Legard, Brundle and McKenzie), with the pit reporters in a studio in the UK), so while things seem rather definite and expected, there are still some issues up in the air.

Seems to me the whole of F1 is littered with a bewildering array of depressingly irritating and conceited people!

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Fair point, if you ask me. Has the geezer ever driver a race car, let alone a proper single seater?

To be fair it always has been, its just that the drivers used to endear themselves by wowing us on the track, not so nowadays..

Fair point although with the cars as they are you could argue they've limited opportunity to wow anyone.
