    What makes a good Car?

Well lets see if i can save Zak an evening off trying to think of more questions to ask,

My question for this evening is what makes a good car, is it looks, handling, top speed, acceleration, Image.

Or is it something like uniqueness, rarity, an expression of oneself?

    Reliability, desirability.

Come on let me know what makes a good car

Got to be fun...if its a plaything it doesn't matter how fast, powerful or rare it is if its a pig to drive. You need to climb out after having a run in it, step back, and think 'WOW'.

    I like my Cav...

It looks like any normal Cav with a subtle bodykit on it...
    Its G reg, pretty old...
    It's got character...
It suprises ppl that think "Pfft, Cav, I'll overtake him"

XE Engine, change the oil regular n its bombproof, mines done over 114k and its got more power than its meant to have
    4 Door Saloon, loadsa space...

i agree with jon bda, a car has to be fun to drive. something that buries you into the seat when it accelerates is also nice to have it can't look like a pig though, as laydeees do love a nice motor, haha

Fun, without a shadow of a doubt.

I want a car I can get in when I'm miserable and come out smiling.
It should have nice handling, tell me whats happening on the road - not suddenly snap into wild understeer/oversteer. It should have enough power to get it moving but not so much that its powerband is minute and I'm constantly revving the hell out of it.

    Thankfully, I've found mine!

For me, low down 'grunt' - but revs to say 6500, positive handling and a car that you have to drive, as opposed to a computer doing the work. Preferably something that warns you as you approach its limit - and doesnt suddenly bite. And capable of the 1/4 in under 12's therefore very good acceleration and a decent top speed

I like torque. I love the feeling of being nailed into the seat.

I don't like having to rev the baps off a car to get the power out of it.

At the same time I like a lightweight car that's quite chuckable.

Not too worried about top end speed since I've got enough points to get a prize if I'm not careful.

Hmm, looks like I've nearly got my perfect car. Once it's got another engine in the back driving the rear wheels with 200bhp in each engine, I think it'll be perfect.

    Stealth, for me.

None of your bling bling bodykit / tinted windows / ironing board spoiler carp etc etc.

Just a factory fit good looking car that leaves the max power boys standing in a cloud of pongy smoke
