Woot - off to see the car this weekend

Worked out its nealy a year since I started this 'project' what started out as a 'cheap' road legal drag car has turned into some crazy fire breathing beast.... and I have yet to buy the engine yet (though am slowly buying bits and pieces as and when finances allow.... £550 for a set of con-rods )
Anyway, all being well a 'built' engine should be mocked up and installed for this weekend just something to get the juices flowing, and I think I have a lead on a block and crank.
Anyways - for those that are intersted will post pics over the weekend, site has had a bit of a revamp also - and I have found the joys of E-Bay much fun
    Cheers

    I promised and I deliver!!!!

    OMG, OMG
This thing looks mean just sitting there being built
We think it can be chassis tagged to run down to 7.50 though at the moment I will be more than happy with a 10 sec 1/4 - which according to the calcs is going to be VERY easy to achieve now.
Unfortunatly I have now offically run out of money, so whats left will be finished off making up motor plates, new transmission tunnel, set of rear discs and um thats if..... which leaves me to make new dash (probably carbon fibre), plump it, wire it and purchase, beg, steal, borrow an engine and box.
The one below is around 7 litres, the one I want (a 454) is around 7.5 litres, but same dimensions externally.
    Couple of pics :-
    Engine.......

Front suspension, steering (all custom built from scratch)

Seat installed - damn hard to get into, roll cage and steering wheel in way, and thats without a windscreen!! lol
