OMG This Corsa sucks!!
I've got a 1.2 Corsa SXi for a week whilst my Clio172 is in teh garage having it's alternator replaced.
I know going from a 2.0 Clio to a 1.2 Corsa is gonna be slower, but this thing is like a slug. I raced a milk float and the milkfloat won!! As for Ragging Hire Cars... jeeeez at least when you rag most of em they go, but this thing?!? The interior is almost as bad as the new vectra I was collected in. Very bland, swathes of plastic, almost "anonymous" there seems to be very little character in the car. <prays to Mr Renault God> Plllllleeeeeeeeaaaaaaassssseeeee can I have my 172 back soon. </prays to Mr Renault God>

in fact, all things considered....... the Corsa SXi is a mid range performer.....you SHOULD try a 1.0 12v
Now THERE is a slug.....not that SXi..they're considered quite quick for a 1200. |

lol, Zak... I'm serious mate. It really is poor.
It's deffo a 1.2 SXi with some nice kerbed alloys! It's done 13,000 I mean, you put your foot flat to the floor and you can't really feel it accelerate as such, it just speeds up.

you got a bad one.....
TiG has an Octavia with 180 and he wasn't too saddened by a 1.2 SXI when he drove it here. Moby had a crack out in an AGILA with that unit in it, and was suprised by the power. There's summit up with that I think....they have fly by wire throttles......so maybe its not opening al the way. |

They rev to over 6 in every gear......quite close ratio's....so they keep up with most stuff with little or no effort.
We have a brand new one here...less than 50 miles and its not good, but its not BAD |

why has a Renault dealer lent you a Corsa as a courtesy car?
I would NEVER lend a Renault to one of my punters....what were they thinking of? I'm sad now

The local dealer use "Enterprise Car Rental" to provide courtesy cars when all of the "own fleet" are in use. So hence I got a lift from dealer to car rental in a new Vectra.
