    Karting at LUNCH TIME :)

Well 3 of my work mates, Vimeous off the boards and a relation of a colleague went a karting at lunch time, £30 for 30minutes driving and i feel dead!.

its like going 10 rounds with Tyson, my arms are acheing, my brain and stomach wondered wtf is happening, but omg how cool.

From a nice steady start of the first lap taking 1:30:92 going down to 1:17:15 - 22 full completed laps in 30minutes making my average lap time 1:20:09, which is just under 3 seconds slower than my best time, I AM sooooooo chuffed consistency in lap times was stunning with no spins.

Karting is so much fun but damn i suffer afterwards, its because i'm skinny and the rattling goes straight through my body...

now to try and concentrate on work the rest of the afternoon

Soooo knackered, might even slope off early and get the time back tomorrow!
It's my first time on that circuit in the dry and I'm still learning the lines so TiG stayed ahead. 1:43.28 was a beached kurb moment but otherwise I scraped an average of 1:21:034 with a best of 1:16:358 and did 23 laps!

TiG I thought you managed a 1:15? It says 1:17.14 on my sheet but I'm sure you were faster!

Regardless the fastest time of the day was a 1:15.010 so we weren't far off the pace, especially as the slowest was another 8secs a lap behind at best!

    Bring on the next event!

    Oh and Tumble.....KICK ASS

Nope 1:17:14 is my fastest lap, I'm wondering where i can cut 1.5seconds off my lap time though....

Vimeous i worked out that i did pass you while you where beached as i definitely started behind you and Martin. So that was the only moment i saw you, stranded heh. you cost me at least 3 seconds on that lap due to the marshall running across the track to get to you, with his yellow flag waving....

Ouch, these things can only do 60MPH, i wouldn't even like to think what that would feel like that close to the floor.

The 18stone colleage was the fastest out of all of us mate, simply because corners are not a problem for him, sure he is crap slow down the back straight, but he can't just nail all slow corners where most time is lost.

    Hope it rains!
The heaviest guys always win in the wet because they can get the slicks through to the tarmac rather than aquaplaning all over the place like the rest of us!
