If you obey the rules then you are hardly free...... The way I see people refusing to think about the way we use cars, how drivers are simply not capable of driving at 100+MPH safely, ultimately i think car driving will be a banned practise, for entertainment purposes only at specialist tracks. Why well it makes a huge improvement in quality of life, why? you may ask. Well your 150mph computer chaufer gets you to work in 10 minutes instead of talking 25minutes, there are no traffic jams as all the road networks are controlled and monitored, there should be no such thing as a road accident therefore the main cost of insurance disappears from the car, and only theft/vandelism is a possibility.. So you can't drive your car, i think the benefits of what we get from this technology far outweigh your right to drive ![]() TiG -- Hexus Meets Rock! -- |

| Zak, fancy chipping in and buying us and any other responsible petrolheads a country we could use for drives? Anyone heard about the supercar resort. Rich folk buy villas there, everywhere is connected to a race track and there is a huge garage full of communa supercars to enjoy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Me want. Its somewhere in spain i believe. So its nice and sunny too. ![]() Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors. |

| What happens if you drive in areas without Cell coverage (parts of Scotland and low valleys etc)? Also would the police be able to track you if you've commited a crime- ie your car is seen as being a getaway vehicle, with your number plate, could they contact the DVLA and then your insurance company to find out what cell you are driving in? |

| Its quite a good idea - and I know there has been mentions of various boxes being put in ALL cars to track speed etc. although its a while away yet. Although I would be interested to see what they do about the places with no coverage, went for holls in scotland this year and my phone was going up and down like a yoyo.
