Motorshow moving to London
The NEC has lost the tender for the motorshow - it will now be hosted at ExCel in London....
Maybe now I might actually get to go to one! (You can tell who has actually been reading the news today eh??)
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

It used to be at Earls Court back in the mists of time, I had a good day out there as a 10 year old car nut. My dad lives about 5 minutes from ExCeL, and I can get there on the DLR pretty easily I think

Great, now we have to fight London traffic/street planning and pay a congestion charge?
To be fair I don't know what the access to ExCel is like, but you can't beat the NEC for ease of access and located nearly in the middle of the country. |

Pretty sure it was the motor show. I can remember being disappointed when it relocated to the NEC.
ExCeL is in Docklands near City Airport, outside the congestion charge zone. Should be pretty easy to get to from the M11, and AFAIK there's plenty of parking round there. I accidentally drove into it on Sunday while trying to drive home from my Dad's. It's lucky they Shellgripped the road, there's a wicked corner going into the roundabout there which nearly caught me out
