    Virgin Money Insurance

Have just changed my Car Insurance to Virgin Money and just wanted to give my recommendation in case anyone else is looking at insurance soon.

Thought Id give them a try because I pay my insurance monthly and as all the TV ads say they dont charge for this privilege.
They were about £10 more expensive than my cheapest quote which was with Churchill, but who would have charged me 10% to pay by monthly instalments so it works out cheaper overall.

My actual quote came in at £ 328.65 Fully Comp, protected no claims with £150 Excess which is exactly in line with every other company I got a quote with.
Fair enough some of you lot drive cars alot meatier than my ickle Festa but deffo get a quote, it could be well worth it!

If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

edit: just got a quote from them at £565 TPFT. Best so far.

My insurance should b fun this year, few mods to declair

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

They'll call you, tbh its best to call them, their online thing sucks, I did it online and my quote was £890, they called me back within the hour and they gave me the best they could find of £322

OK..it's official...Virgin Insurance is pretty tasty

Sair just got a quote on her Astra SXi 3dr 1.6 with a million years of no claims for under £250...no suprise...but she DOES have 2xSP30's (shes 34)

BUT adding me on, (!) with no no claims (company car for my whole life) plus my SP30 ...

didn't change the quote AT ALL !!

    £240 fully comp

all day long......and thats IGNORING her discount for working for them (which was irrelevant as its was cheaper online than on the phone to the Staff-Only line)

I'm saving up insurance company brochures for a mammoth phone around when my renewal comes up in May. I was delighted with my premium of £350 this year (MR2, age 25, 5 yrs NCB, no points or claims), but I currently have nothing like £350 in the bank, so any saving at all would be welcome.

Now these points of data make a beautiful line, and we're out of beta we're releasing on time....

this yr i havent had enuff cash to pay all at once so ive had to go monthly, ended up being £550 for my AX from elephant.co.uk. if it was a week or two later id have the money as my student loan comes in.

next year I should have enuff money because the renewal will be in jan, after my loan, plus should have some money from working in the summer.
