Well I presume Comet would be handling the customer service, so it's good alround

Useful for friends wanting a decent system, but not wanting me to build them one.

Only problem I see is this:

    Dedicated graphics 2 x 256MBGF7600

    What?
    Why SLI 2 7600s?
Why not just put in one 7900 (or 7950)? The price would be less, and performance better.

    Bizarre...

    939 3800 X2 | 2gig corsairXMS 3200C2
    1950XT | 500gig,320,200,160
    Plextor DVD burner | Yamaha CRW-F1 CD-drive
    Thermaltake Xaser 3 w 480W FSP | X-fi fatal1ty

    Camera setup: Canon 350D, Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 macro, Canon 70-300IS, Sigma 20 1.8, Peleng 15mm fisheye

    Where'd that come from?

I'm pretty sure MESH offer dual 7950GX2 and other high end graphics.

Great news I think. I've never owned a Mesh, but, people I know have so I guess this makes it easier for me to persuade others to get them

Dunno then - my own experience with has been very positive actually - mostly the benefit of being able to physically take something back to the store.

my first pc was a MESH, and pretty damn decent for its day too a p120!!!

and i used to work for Comet as an instore multimedia consultant, back when they sold nothing but HP's and Fujitsu Siemens. I was in a branch recently and the choice was absolutely shocking, nothing with a dedicated graphics card at all, so hopefully this will make a nice change to their range and give my old colleagues something nice and shiny to drool over in store
