Have any of you tried contacting Peter Hills by telephone?

Here is his mobile number: 07077810047

Before the moderators shoot me down, this number was posted by Peter Hills HIMSELF on the Grumbletext forum (see link for proof). So I am only passing on what he himself has put into the public domain - don't shoot the messenger!

    http://www.grumbletext.co.uk/vt.php?...avastore#20476
^ To be specific see the post dated 02/02/2007 which is about the seventh post down.

Hope this helps all of you who are currently in limbo.

NOTE: THIS IS A PERSONAL NUMBERING SERVICE, AND AS SUCH THE RATE PER MINUTE IS UNKNOWN (NOT NECESSARILY CHARGED AT LOCAL RATE). USE WITH CAUTION!!!

dfisher1 - Thanks for that contact info.
I have left a message with him but i dont think he will call me back.
I only wish that Savastore or the administrators would publish some update with advice for customers left now with problems.

That's an 070 personal numbering services (pn10) number so it could point to anywhere. You might be phoning a call centre in Lagos for all you know and it will cost you about 30pence a minute from a landline.

This is so beyond a joke now! I've emailed city link who apparently had my item and they've just got back to me saying that they have the order number but the item was never recieved from the store and the only thing they suggest doing is getting another item from the seller. Yeah that would be all well and good if their website was actually working!!!! They've taken my money and now i want my product!

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realise this was a personal numbering service - too good to be true then. I will amend my previous post to make people aware of this.

But I should still be able to cancel my outstanding order by post, surely...
Well its worth a try and a signed, dated copy should be worth something in a small claims court if necessary.

Why is it then that I ordered a photo printer from savastores and they e mailed me at 8 o clock am on 8th february to say they had just taken the money out of my account and were shipping the printer out that afternoon when at 3.30 of that afternoon they shut down. They have taken my money and I have not received the printer!

Even if small claims ruled in your favour, there probably will be little/ no money left over from the liquidation of assets to pay you. Sorry.

That kinda begs the question - is there any legal way to get Justice?
