Re: Headlines - Sandisk and PNY unveil 32GB SDHC cards
What is the actual capacity limit for SDHC?
I've heard some say it is 32GB, but according to Wikipedia, it is 2TB |

Re: Headlines - Sandisk and PNY unveil 32GB SDHC cards
Bear in mind, please, that there is more than one use for SD - or SDHC.
I've got a Tablet PC, with a 2gb card in it for backing up my documents once a day - the more space the SD card has, the better. (That being said, the Tablet (TC1100) only takes non-SDhc... )-: ...) |

Re: Headlines - Sandisk and PNY unveil 32GB SDHC cards
In theory it's not hard to upgrade firmware/software to support SDHC.
By the look of it's just a change to the addressing system, which if the driver is written even half-decently won't be hard. And then of course there's a bit of extra initialisation to do to check if it's an SDHC card, I guess... |
