    Another nail in the coffin for AMD.. They were great with the early x2 cpu's and wildly overlcockable Opteron's but have lacked that cutting edge in the last 18months.

    As already mentioned a Physix acquisition would only have made AMD more fragmented. Whats happening now is intel are forcing AMD out of the market, which is bad news all over.. We already see the negative side from intil holding back the next generation cpu's.. Also Nvidia are slow to bring forward the 9800, largely due to lack of resistance from ATI
