I can see their concern though - it's vital that they get this right for the majority of users (even if the blame lies with third party driver devs).

Because *some* third party drivers have had *some* problems with it. They're being careful - something to encourage rather than deride.

I feel we ought to just automate these things now - I hate to feel people are wasting precious time posting things like that
