Cool, any word on other specs or price?
Here are the specifications of the Dell Streak:

So its a big smartphone then basically
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, it looks like Dell have dropped the ball on this one, from my point of view at least. It was looking great with the author mentioning increased pixel density - then we got to the specs, and it has the same resolution as my Touch HD. For those with decent eyesight at least, there's no need for a bigger screen (than 3.8") except for watching videos, if the resolution isn't going to be improved - it just adds bulk rather than functionality.
Never mind.
No, becuase the ipad isnt a phone, that'll be the ipad 2 that comes out in 12 months time, as per normal apple, they release sometihng, tell you it doesnt need all this other stuff as it kills battery life and users wont really use it, then, when they have made there money they release a new version with all the stuff they said they didnt need to start with...
I take it you have very skinny fingers then For on-screen touch keyboards I'd welcome some extra real estate... I only have two issues with this: capacitative touch == no stylus, and hence no easy handwriting recognition (a big Android lack, IMNSHO). I know my usage pattern isn't really typical, but there you have it - if someone wants to sell me a tablet, stylus & handwriting recognition, if you please
I guess I do, I very rarely need to use the stylus (1-2x / month). I just use my fingernail if it's slightly fiddly. But I suppose that's the advantage of resistive touchscreens. Oh, and upgrading from the standard onscreen keyboard is a must - TouchPal is a godsend for WinMo
Anyway, IIRC you can get styli for capacitative touchscreens, they just don't come as standard.
