Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Corsair Hydro Series! Tnx Hexus
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Awww thanks HEXUS :hexlub: I think this would have to be a gift to my dad who's trying to quieten down his PC for audio work.
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Wooo! Thanks Hexus! Corsair Hydro, quietness! :D
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like most about the Hydro series: Excellent performance at an excellent price!
You honestly cannot beat the overall Corsair package of excellent products, excellent after-sales support and all for an excellent price!
Hope I'm one of the lucky few and I'll definitely post a review if I win! Good luck everyone!

Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
After having a H50 H70 & now own a H100, its safe to say I like the Hydro range. They are easy to set up with little hassle & every one that I've own never had a problem ! The bundled fan's are good but I've alway added other ones for Push & pull (so I can have matching sets). I've tried other types of cooler but these do the job well & look great in a windowed case. I like the look of the new range with the new fan's & also see they have made some changes to the block ?
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like most about the Hydro series, is that they are beautifully designed, do the job brilliantly, and most of all would go perfectly in my Corsair 500R, it would of course, also give me an excuse to upgrade from the poor old G620 cpu that I have, to something with a lot more grunt :)
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
For me Corsair Hydro Series H100i, Please :D
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Won a silent graphics card in a previous comp, and now my CPU cooler is FAR too noisy! :p
-
Re: Features - Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Oh still running a H50 from same month as release... love it but its gargling from time to time now lol
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Awesome competition.
What I really like about the H series coolers is that they take up a lot less space compared to a high end Air cooler e.g. Noctua NH D14 (my current cooler), the black colour scheme works well for most builds, the colour of the Noctua fans is the only thing I hate about my D14.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like most about the Hydro Series range... Well, they're nice looking, they're very good at cooling CPUs without wasting lots of money on custom watercooling loops and space. Also, they're probably the best all in one water coolers out there in the consumer market.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Havent used Corsair cooling products before, only their RAM, which is performing rather nicely in this machine atm, but from the description I read of the H100i the best part for me other than the obvious cooling benefits, is the inbuilt sensors combined with the usb header attachment. Complete monitoring without messing about with other thermometer placement etc.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like it cos its so sleek and sexy and it would go well with my fractal define case !
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like Corsair Hydro Series for their way of closed loops, no maintenance and possible leaking.
And at the end excellent cooling performance. Nice competitions!!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Excellent competition guys, nice for a forum one for a change especially for something like this which is actually pretty good! Great for someone who wants a simple and low maintenance wcing setup.
Good luck whoever gets it
(Dont enter me in this... I already have far to many radiators in my system haha!).
Hopefully the next one is a 7970 and I win it lol, could do with one ;).
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Would love one of these to replace my stock Intel cooler, which has developed an annoying whine (making the loudest component in my PC).
More to the point it would allow me to get a decent overclock on my trusty old i3 530.
Two great reasons why a Corsair Hydro Series cooler would love to make a home in my PC.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I'm slowly clubbing together components for a new build and, as I get older (31 so not quite 'get off my lawn' old just yet for those thinking it), I am starting to be more interested in a balance of noise and performance. One of these looks like it would be just the ticket! Happy to review it as part of said build.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Indeed, excellent competition.
And things I like about the Hydro series, easy fitment, great cooling, great price.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Sealed water Cooling? What's not to like!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I'd have to say the best thing is the sheer convenience and avoiding a leaky DIY job!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Well I finally built my 3930k system to which I transferred my existing h80 over, sadly though no sooner than I just built her was I forced to put her into storage as a result of my landlord selling the house I was renting, so for going on 2 months now my baby has been imprisoned while I got/get myself sorted with a new place, this episode of homelessness is soon to come to a close and I will be reunited with my baby, the h80 is awesome, though I did change the fans to noctua ones, but man if I were to slap in a h100i my baby could roar like a lion instead of purring like a kitten, please donate a h100i to the cause of Lola or whatever you can afford every little helps.
Luckily I have not been unplugged all this time, between my s3 and note 10.1 I have managed to survive lol but boy do I miss having a fixed line.
Would love it though if corsair brought out a h120i as in a triple rad cooler, could you imagine the complete awesomeness of that? I was contemplating swapping all my noctua fans out for the corsair ones, would that be advisable do you reckon?
I keep living and hoping that corsair since coolit is where all these beauties come from would release their own version of the coolit omni gpu cooler that never made it to market as cooling went oem only, I nearly cried when that happened as I was looking forward to it, basically if you don't remember, it was essentially a sealed loop cooler that could fit any gpu, lol maybe we should petition corsair...
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Wow, another competition from Corsair and Hexus!
I've never owned a single Corsair H Series cooler, though I've always wanted to have one. And I've never set my eyes on any other brand of liquid CPU coolers.
I like how the H series coolers look. The design and color can blend on almost any build, and of course, having that Corsair logo inside the PC case is a sure win! With a H series cooler, you don't have to deal with bulky air coolers every time you work around your PC's interior.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Oh and plus my ax1200i would like a friend lol...
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
The fact that leaks are covered.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I'm using a corsair H70 and have used it for three years on both a Phenom II and now an i5. Its kept things cool, quiet and running like a dream.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
From what I've read the performance of these closed water systems has come along a long way since I tried one about 5yrs ago. Corsair seems to be at the head of the pack from the reviews as well.
Nice comps, thanks Hexus!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
It would make for a nice Xmas present for my GF and her troubling loud PC, if I win one of these beauties :) What I like about them? Besides taming system noise, it would also display the same logo as my system's memory does... and the price is actually quite reasonable (in the shops, obviously even better if I win one!). :D
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Its corsair...need i say more?
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What love best about the Hydro series is that not only is it an excellent cooler, it would look awesome in my 650D with my AX850 PSU
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Quick and easy, self-contained water cooling!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
A few years back I had a Zalman Reserator which sprung a leak and trashed my system. I've never been able to afford a replacement water cooled system and have really missed the audible benefits of such a set up. The good thing about these Corsair Hydro products is it's a good way of reaping some of that benefit without having to shell out for the full kit. I'd love one so I can take this existing behemoth heatsink piece of crap and banshee wailing fan, and give myself a hernia trying to launch it over the back garden fence at the chavs behind ;)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Have always wanted to change to water cooling and corsair is a excellent maker and was going to treat myself to one for Xmas as there's are among the best there are and would cool htpc really well
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Easy to install, solidly built, and the stock fans stand up to the best of 'em.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
i never win anything :(
Never had water cooling but Corsair as a company are great ;)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I have had the H50 since release and it has never put a foot wrong, great customer service when I was waiting for the skt1156 bracket to arrive and that was when I had my I5 750, now I have an I5 2400, I was thinking about putting my H50 in my HTPC as it is quiet enough for that and getting a H70 for my main rig,
Now that this compo is here, I thought I might have a chance to win one and if all there is to do is a review, I'm in
thanks Hexus and Corsair.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Sweet. I have the original Corsair H100 in one system and certainly would love to get one for my other PC. Very quiet at the low RPM mode and still very good cooling. Installation was a breeze too and works well with high profile memory due to the size of the CPU block being so small. Many of the larger air coolers simply would not fit with my RAM!!!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
:( 25 posts. Im on 11 damn. Good luck to those that are in it :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I am 59 and still gaming strong, one of these would look lovely with my new (soon to be built) build, Asus P8Z77-V PRO, Corsair 8Gb Vengeance Jet Black, Intel i5 3570K and a 2Gb EVGA GTX660Ti. What a lovely present for the New Year :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Love the hydro series because they are cool, quiet and you don't have to worry about ram clearance while dumping all the heat straight out the case.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like about the Corsair Hydro Series cooler, they are the coolest coolers around
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
after using other corsair products i'd like to see what the Corsair Hydro Series H100i can do ..
maybe even convert it for a gpu ...lol
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
It has to be: simplicity! Quiet and effective cooling in a neat, simple package. The only thing that would make it better is if it were mine! :)
Thanks for the awesome comps, Hexus!!

-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like the most? Probably the fact that Hydro is bridging the gap between fully blown watercooling setup and expensive air coolers? It kinda sits in between.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I've always been impressed the with the Hydro series, for offering a powerful liquid cooling system, without the need for specialist knowledge to fit and maintain it. Even better, the range of different models means you can always find one suitable for your choice of case and system specification.
Definitely something I'd purchase for my next build (whenever the other half lets me!!)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
The thing that interests me the most is that this seems like a really easy way to get into water cooling, having had limited success before with leaky looks on the old barb style system, dealing with noisy pumps and bleeding/leak testing a system that wasn't great when it came to a LAN (and trying to keep a rapidly upgraded GPU in the loop which proved expensive) a single no mess loop looks like a great way to take advantage of the modern enthusiast cases that are available with suitable rad mounting
The H100i looks like it would be a perfect fit into the top of my pc case and would be very interesting to see what the performance is like, maybe even require a pc upgrade to get the full impact ;)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Got my young brother one of these for his new build i helped him with and i'm impressed with the temperatures gained on his H100 on low noise settings (especially with the hot-running ivy-bridge!!). would love to have my own to replace my stock cooler!!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Impressive coolers, awesome prizes. I haven't yet try to use liquid coolers. Thanks Hexus for bringing this new contest, hope I win one!! One of my Christmas wishes!!!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Nice and easy water coolers.........
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I got an H100 for my i7-3930 and the thing I most like about it is that it justifies the purchase of a monstrous case .. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=xigmatek+elysium+case&tbm=isch (Google images: xigmatek elysium case).
More truthfully, after reading tons of cooling reviews, the H100 seemed the clear winner on cooling and price. The sound level doesn't bother me much although a quieter H100i wouldn't be sneered at.
I suspect that Haswell will be happy enough with an H80i and that will allow me to get a smaller cheaper case for the 3930's number-cruncher sidekick.
Sadly I don't have enough posts to qualify for the competition, I'm just putting in my 2p's worth. ;-)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
This would really help me cool down as am skint :(
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
wow... I would LOVE to own one of these awesome coolers. I really like the new look of the H80i and H100i.
The new fans sure look better, and perform better.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Great Prizes! It looks fantastic! I like Corsair Hydro Series and I want to win it! Thanks for the giveaway!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I'd love a Corsair Hydro cooler so it can finally allow me to bring my a PC into the living room for silent gaming on a massive screen :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Would love one of them as I'm far to much of a klutz to be mucking around with a non-closed loop system and would no noubt end up flooding my flat somehow.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Thanks :hexlub:
Great performance but pretty quiet, and good for any motherboard no matter how big the RAM/NB heatsink is. Nice easy entrance into the world of watercooling.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I want one because they're... really cool!...get it?....see what I did there?.....Well I thought it was good godammit.
/Gets coat & leaves.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Well.... Cool my CPU probably :D
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the hydro for its well cooling performance and quietness.
Thanks hexus.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
The thing I like most about the Corsair series is the possibility of excellent cooling in a small form factor system! Transferring the heat from the cpu straight to pretty much outside the case helps an enormous amount with cooling.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the combination of the cooling performance of water cooling with the ease and convenience of air cooling.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like about the Corsair Hydro Range is the fact that they keep CPU's so cool and if they had testicles they would have fallen off due to frostbite!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What do I like about these? Closed system so no fiddling with liquids or topping up so easy to use. Great performance. Great build quality. What mode could you ask for. So hope I win one. Thanks Hexus.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Top performance in a relatively small for factor, allowing for great mods like squeezing one into a mITX case.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Awesome contest! Corsair and Hexus FTW!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I've always fancied one of these after reading about their near silence at ordinary work levels in a number of reviews, I'm not worried about noise when I'm gaming because the GPU fans make more noise than the CPU Cooler and I wear earphones. However I could never justify the price just on that premise so this compo could offer me just the chance I need. :clapping:
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Need a quieter PC, looked into water cooler but too expensive, saw the corsair hydro series and thought, now that's perfect. Reviews becked it up, now please pleaase can I have one please x
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Thanks Hexus and Corsair. Loving your coolers as they both keep my cpu nice and cool and my room nice and warm :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What's not to like about the Hydro's? The latest incarnation looks great, cooling efficently and quietly. You get Corsair's excellent new fan design, the pump/waterblock unit is remarkably svelte and the tubing, to me at least, looks far better than the old corrugated hose.
So what do you get out of a Hydro cooler? A compact and easy to install liquid cooler that has an efficiency only the most expensive air coolers come close to and uses less physical space in your case to boot.
Just shame I can only fit a single 120mm radiator in mine. :P
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
the Hydro: cool, quiet and low maint :D
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like their subtle, compact design (nothing flashy, no LEDs etc.). Obviously the cooling performance/noise will be much better than the vast majority of air coolers, with the added bonus of being able to be put into smaller cases without worrying too much about height.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Great function and design, simple to install effective and sexy
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
As a H50 and H80 owner I like the fact that I don't have 1KG/2.2LBS+ of weight hanging off the CPU socket to do the same job.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like most about these is that they would be perfect for my rig which the misses recently made me hide away into a semi-ventilated unit so it's out of view behind doors.
The ventilation in there is not quite adequate and so after a good gaming session it can get quite toasty.
These would be the perfect solution until the divorce papers come through...
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I've owned a H50 for about 18 months, so I'm very interested to see how Corsair's latest range compares. I'm not an extreme overclocker, as stability and quiet performance interest me more, and the simplicity of the Corsair H-Series is what attracted me to it in the first place. It's been utterly reliable, has a fantastic build quality and was fitted and working within a coffee-break. It works for me. Plus the best after-sales support is the one that you never have to contact and I can honestly say, that is the case with Corsair.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
thanks HEXUS and CORSAIR... hope to win one the prizes
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the fact it's a water cooler... But it isn't.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Bonus stuff! \o/
I like the fans of the Hydros - having read reviews of Corsair fans, I would have high hopes for them :)
Thanks Hexus!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Another great competition - thanks Hexus and Corsair :)
-
hello
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I would really like a Corsair Hydro cooler. The closed loop, no maintenance system would be great; It would be my first step into watercooling. I work at my PC all day so lower noise would be a big benefit to my sanity. Hopefully it would allow me to push my old rig up a few Mhz over my current setup!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What I like about the Hydro range is the fact it's no hassle of changing the water every 6-12 months of a custom loop, and have the chance to use RAM with high fin heatspreaders without the worry of compatability, also the warranty of 5 years is better than Corsair's competitors.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Performs great and looks the business.
Was very impressed when I could fit a H50 in a Sugo SG03 case!
Since then I have tried H80 and H100. Can’t see way I would use anything else :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
The thing I like most about the Corsair closed loop liquid cooling kits is the ability to mount the radiator to your case saving you a lot of space near your CPU so you can use RAM with large heat spreaders while still getting very good cooling for your CPU. This feature also improves airflow around the motherboard and reduces the load put on the motherboard because the waterblock and pump are much lighter than a large tower heatsink.
I've been wanting to get one of these kits for while, thanks for the awesome competition.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the fact that they're part of a Hexus comp that's just for us forum dwellers - nice one guys :)
-
hello
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
What i like about the Corsair Hydro series is how it's brought Water-Cooling down to affordable levels without compromising performance.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the build quality and performance of these coolers- which is great. I also like the top notch warranty and support that corsair offer.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Never used any form of watercooling before, although been interested in it.
Ordered one of the earlier versions of these for a friend, when it arrived I wanted to keep it.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
These are great little units to get into watercooling without going through all the hassle of pumps, radiators, tubing, etc.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I have owned a h50. What I like about them is that they have performance on par with the best aircoolers. However they do this with a much smaller footprint. This has a two fold benefit. Firstly it means you can have equal performance in a much smaller case but also the motherboard is much less likely to get warped or damaged particularly when being transported. This is very good for lan party builds.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
The thing i like most about these coolers is, well, the cooling!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
these coolers define corsair as an entity.
they represent what corsairs were and are.
fans to blow along in the wind.
the water, to be blown upon.
the blackness, like the blackness of pirate hearts.
stealthy and silent like a barbary pirate.
they are, and will always be, Corsair.
yarr, pirate cat has spoken, ye drunken skallywags!
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
what i like most about the Corsair Hydro Series range is that the build quality is SUPERB excellent, i know because i owned my self a vengeance gaming kit (Mouse, Keyboard, Headset) and totally are very deeply touch by it, an additional H100i to my system would make my gaming and overclocking experience reaching to a supreme level that i never been there before and i want to feel it with the best that is Corsair :) for me personally Corsair are definitely the best computer part and component manufacturers with a long history of building enthusiast-grade memory and components, Corsair have earned a reputation for quality, compatibility, and performance.
No Doubt about it :)
Heart to Corsair :)
Thank you Corsair and Hexus for this Awesomeness opportunity :)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Ooh great competition - always good to see a members' special comp!
What I like most about the Corsair Hydro Series is that it's a simple and good value way to get the performance of water-cooling with none of the risk or hard work! Which is good if you're chronically lazy and/or scared of breaking everything like me ;)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I like the fact that the whole thing is pre-built for you so you don't have to faf around with all the different parts of a water cooling-setup (with associated leaks). You can just fit it and you're done.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
great comp guys :)
What I've always liked about the hydro series is the ease of use and the flexibility of the size/space, because the radiator doesn't have to be mounted where the cpu socket is, so it can be used in cases where cpu socket space makes it impossible to fit a large cpu cooler.
EDIT: Plus I want to get my grubby mitts on one but cannot justify the expenditure. ;)
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
Quiet, simple and effective. Thats the H series in a nutshell.
-
Re: Forum Exclusive: Win a Corsair Hydro Series cooler
I have always wanted water cooling.
