    Technically your motherboard VRMs can take upto 275W.

    Nice....but would have been even better if it included the asus rog mobo too lol. Full upgrade not just cpu speed. Mind you..my 8150 is warm enough with h80... hate to think how much heat 220w gives out over my 125w

    Interesting, hadn't come across any figures. ASUS don't list 9000 series on the compatible list. Given it can overclock an 8350, that doesn't make much sense really.

    OTOH, my son would live an 8350 upgrade and would need a motherboard to go with it, so I would still be in the market.
