This is a well thought out, very capable PC.
    It even looks fantastic.
By selecting either slightly lower than top of the range spec mixed with a couple of higher end componants (example - the COrsair MP500 M.2) has brought about a PC that would completely satisfy most gamers and other PC users.
The combination shown here is similar to how I would envisage a PC for myself.
A big hanks to Hexus and all their associates (Dino PC, Gigabyte, et cetera) and suppliers for the chance to win this PC.
Good luck to all, but especially me :-)

It is a fairly simple process with most software, some are even free.
Some manufacturers also provide migration software for free with their products (example - Samsung's migration software is available with a new Samsung SSD).
Good idea to read up first - just like you said, and some backups are easy to check (example - if you do a clone on another drive, check it will boot OK).
Here is a link to a recent (2nd Feb 2017) review of 36x free backup software - https://www.lifewire.com/free-backup...-tools-2617964
This also has links to specific reviews and where to download each product.
I have used Aomie (number 2 on the list) before with good success - very capable software. It is also able to do a variety of different backups, depending on your need at the time (examples - clone entire drive or you can set it to do regular schedualed backups of particular files and folders).
At the moment I am using a payed copy from Acronis.

The winners will be notified via email by February 27, 2017. The winner must claim their prize within 7 days of the promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, HEXUS reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
    Cheers, David
