Forum Exclusive: Win 1 of 5 BenQ W1210ST projectors

To once again say thank you for making our forum community one of the best destinations on the web, HEXUS has teamed up with BenQ to give our forum members an exclusive opportunity to get your hands on one of five W1210ST projectors!

Designed with console gaming in mind, the W1210ST offers full-HD 1080p visuals, a short-throw lens allowing a massive 100in image from a distance of just 1.5 metres, and a 16ms response time that gives it the lowest input lag of any gaming projector on the market.

Want a chance to try it for yourself? To enter, you need to be a registered member of the HEXUS community forums with at least 25 posts. If you meet that criteria use the comments facility below to tell us which gaming system you would you use with the W1210ST and you'll automatically be entered into our free prize draw.

It's a fantastic opportunity to take your gaming experience up a notch and we have only one small request; if you're a winner, you must come back and tell us what you make of the prizes with a reader review. Sound like fun? Then leave a comment below to be in with a chance.

    Terms & conditions
    • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
    • The prize draw is open to HEXUS forum members who registered before February 1, 2017 and have at least 25 posts.
    • The competition winner(s) will be picked at random from all eligible entries that arrive by 22:00 GMT on the closing date, March 7, 2017.
    • Only one entry is permitted per household per HEXUS entry form. Duplicate entries will result in disqualification and no entrant may win more than one prize.
    • The winners will be notified via email by March 14, 2017. The winner must claim their prize within 7 days of the promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, HEXUS reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
    • By participating in this competition, the winners agree to return to the HEXUS forum and post a reader review of their prize within eight weeks of receipt.
    • The prize is one of five BenQ W1210ST projectors.
    • In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater specification.
    • Prizes will ship to winners within 45 days of the draw, though we aim for sooner.
    • HEXUS and its partners are responsible for shipping within the criteria laid out and the winner is responsible for local taxes if applicable.
    • Prize draws are not open to employees of HEXUS and their affiliates, agencies, suppliers, sponsors and members employees' immediate families.

I'd use this with a SCART-HDMI convertor box with my old Amstrad GX4000 games console.

Re: Forum Exclusive: Win 1 of 5 BenQ W1210ST projectors

I buy a lot of BenQ projectors (as well as mainly use their monitors) for work. Been very happy with them over the last nine or so years of buying them - also had good experiences with their returns and warranty claims. One of these would go nicely in my new place, running with my PS One, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PC

Certainly an upgrade to the £40 one we've currently got. Mostly for Chromecasting as it's not in the living room, but I'm sure I'd hook up the PC for some huge gaming fun

I'd plug in my SteamLink and use it to make a ludicrous setup in my Living room.

I'd be tempted to hook it up to the HDMI switch in the bedroom (PS3/4/XB360) - playing games whilst lying in bed on a 100" screen... sounds good to me!

Definitely could make good use of this, not sure if I'd use it for living room use for PS4 Pro or use it for PC gaming in my office

Re: Forum Exclusive: Win 1 of 5 BenQ W1210ST projectors

With 2 HDMI inputs, I'd have to keep my HTPC hooked up to one of them - to sit back and chill with some Buffy or Yes Prime Minister!

The other would probably have to be "free floating" for the XBox One and the Wii, although I think what I'd most look forward to doing would be hooking up my JXD S5110b, loading a NES emulator, and playing NES Elite on a 100" screen - that'd be amazing!

I would use this with my desktop to do some Rainbow 6 Siege on a well... very large screen. I'd also test out the Amazon Fire Box on it and watch some (downscaled) 4k!
