As far as I know, mrbeef aka ifyouknowme voiced an interest in restarting it but hasn't been heard from since.
It's probably best of you to speak to ajbrun to see what's the latest on the situation. If people would like to mix then I'd suggest idling in #hexus.cs on QuakeNet, I usually mix most nights and will probably message in the channel if I need more for a match. |

I have noticed loads of people saying they wouldn't mind seeing the clan back in action again, but unfortunately, no one has taken the plunge to get it started. Therefore, I can only assume that no one wants to be CL or that everyone is just wanting for someone else to make the effort.
Ifyouknowme (mrbeef) says he isn't going to have enough time to get everything started again, which is what I had expected, so although I'm not going to actively seek out people myself (they should show they want to), I'm still hoping there will be someone wanting to make the effort. Someone who wants to be CL needs to have the initiative to get it going. You need a thread or something to find members, and then somewhere to meet. There's an IRC channel available already if necessary (#hexus.cs on quakenet), but I'd suggest a vent server should be the main place to gather. Lastly, a server will be needed. Hexus may be looking into this after their previous server disappeared. If a clan does develop, I can chase up various server possibilities. I can help in any way I can with the reformation of the clan, but I am unable to take any major role within it. Rec0il - if you really are up for getting that clan started again, feel free to get a list of members and start off with a few mixes. I think you said you've been in a few clans before, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to get things together again. |

I'm not up for joining, but i wouldn't mind playing some mixes, and/or getting you a match with my current clan for practice, when there is enough members in the clan of course.

Just to add on ajbrun's point, I think people who expressed an interest should also ask themselves what form of a clan they want.
Perhaps something serious like the previous incarnation which was a competitively active on leagues like Enemy Down, Clan Base etc. Or on the other hand along the lines more of a community similar to what's been started already with the Hexus steam community group. So players would occasionally play together on public servers or even organise mixes. |
