Ok seeing as no one else is up for it i guess i can make a start. I'll be happy to start up the clan again.

BUT

What i need to know now is

• Who wants to join?
  
• If you join what kind of clan do you want? Competitive (ED etc) Or A Community where we don’t play competitively, Or both?
  

And also we need to get a server which means we will all need to contribute towards it.

If there is a big interest in this and we can get a fair amount of users then im happy to start this up again.

So let me know in this thread please. I would also really like some of the origional hexus members in this

Got a decent PC, comms...and can also code/host websites/files if needed

Just from experience, I'd try and obtain a vent server if possible. Sometimes they come with game servers. Vent is just more clear and generally less laggy than TS .

Never had any issues with TS personally in the past - haven't tried ventrillo though, maybe I'm missing out on something good!

I believe the case of our ol' TS server being laggy was more to do with where it was hosted rather than the software itself.

But if you're willing to part with some cash get a ventrillo server since it's better.

If the clan turns out to be more of a community thing I'd like to be apart of it but if it's a competitive one I'm still willing to help out if you need to make up the numbers for training & mixes.

I'm kind of the same as e-LAN-go. If it's just a play about on a server every now and then as a community thing, then I'm quite happy to join in. Having said that, I like the idea of a competitive clan more. If this happens, whilst I won't be a full member, I'm happy to help out with mixes and even server admining or whatever if needed. I just wouldn't be playing competitively.

Could it not be both? Hexus community play, along with competition for those that want it? It would probably give those who are competitive a chance to team up and practice against those who are less so?

I think we need to see how many people we have got first. If there isnt enough then we wont be able to do both. Id like about 7-8 ppl for a competitive clan. A community would be good too and maybe after people have done it for a while they may consider competitive games, but like i said. I need to get numbers first.

And then we can go from there
