What does it take to become a Hexus clan member?

Well, I've been playing in the hexus server for a while now.. many of you guys should have already seen me around pretty often with the 'sawyen' nick and my silly P90 habits.... okay.. maybe not so often.. (c'mon.. you cant expect that much from a university doctorate)..

Was wondering if it doesnt take that much effort (like at least 5 days of 2 hour participation a week), I might get associated with the Hexus clan..

I'm probably okay with turning up for an hour game or 2 a week on busy weeks (okay.. lousy estimate as I do go out on conferences for >weeks)..

Yes - IRC is very important. I've seen you about on the server a fair bit, but you really need to hang about in IRC also. The details are in my sig, if you have any questions about it, just PM me .

I know of at least 2 people who'd like to join right now, but I'l have to decided if we really need more players since we have 16 as it stands now.

aj we are a community at the end of the day and if forum members want to join we shouldnt really be allowed to stop them.

They dont have to put into the teams at the start. Just trial them and see if they are as active as needed.

oh no... skill trials.. I'll fail miserably on this (as I have near zero skill and non-existent experience)..

Can we skip the trial bit? Any chance? .. I'm only proficient with a couple of monkey jumping weapons, so a trial would see me dead in the tracks as a solo player..

ALso.. getting on IRC shouldnt be a problem.. havent used mIRC since secondary school (ahh.. those 28.8kbps days) tho..

Mort - I'm sorry, but that's simply not true. We're still deciding whether or not we actually need any new players since we're such a large clan. When we do come to a point where new players would benefit us, then we'll let you know. We'll probably re-evaluate the situation after all the exams are finished for the summer .
