decent web-based IRC client?
Hi
Was just wondering if anyone knows of a good web-based IRC client that I can use through my browser while at work (would like to start talking to you guys via IRC but think the required ports are blocked on the LAN at work) Any ideas anyone? Cheers Mitch |

Go there and connect. That will connect you to the emobash channel which is some random channel that no one really bothers with. The main thing is you're on IRC. Change to our CS channel by typing in the following: /j #hexus.cs I hope we'll see you about when you're not at work also? |

No, most IRC servers limit the conections from a single IP, so a free poroxy service would be too expencive for people to provide, i guess it could have legality issues as well. if IRC ports have been blocked specificaly at your work, you might consider a Bouncer, or BNC which is like a poroxy, you connect to the BNC service then this connects to the IRC server. These can use basicaly any port.
