on screen ping probs with cs:s

as you can see i've got a load of info on the bottom right hand side of my screen i don't have a clue how i turned it on and have even less idea of how to turn it off i would be very grateful if could you help me out because it is very distracting whilst trying to play.

Easy answer, u have somehow turned on netgraph. In the console type: net_graph 0, this will turn it off, u currently have: net_graph 3

thank you have tried that but doesn't seem to work i'm typing it in exactly as written but no joy any other ideas. by the way if you need any more details or screen shots let me know.

Try that. I thought it would work without the quotes also, but this is what I have in my config (except with a '3' to turn it on).

thankyou all sorted now! and not from york from plymouth i just happened to have that t-shirt on when i registered for something a while ago and kept with that name.

If u do it in the console it works, if u do it in the config file u write it the way ajburn said

You could try typing in "sv_cheats 1" in the console before you join a game.

Then type "net_graph 0".

Edit: Nevermind you sorted it :| Duno how I missed that

That ping of 53 isn't too bad is it?

When you press tab, that shows latency doesn't it, which is always smaller than the ping.

net graph shows more accurate ping and updates alot more frequently

53 is pretty bad for a uk server

you should be getting 35 or less on net_graph, ignore the score board pings, they are just lies
