Smile A Tip For CS Newbies.

For those who are new to CS:S, I have learnt something that has saved my life in the game numerous times.

In maps such as de_dust, de_dust 2, and de_aztec, as I'm sure you know, there are doorways. And some people decide to hide in the doorways to kill you. You think no ones there, and you walk into the trap. There is a solution to this.

If you don't know, you can shoot through the doors. Yes, you heard me correctly, you can shoot through the doors.

If you don't want to let the enemy know you're coming though, when you walk through the doorway, move your gun to where you think the enemies head is.

    I hope that was helpful.

Yeah, you can shoot through doors. -Nods-.
You can shoot through walls as well, but if you hit somebody with a flukey shot, you'll get accused of wall hacks. Lol.

Really? Thanks, I never knew you can shoot through walls!

You should also try buy scripts, it really saves time, just go to the console and type in buy to see the differant aliases for different items. Then, type in:

    bind "<any key>" "buy <any weapon>"

If you want to add more weapons, put ; after each weapon, i.e:

bind "F4" "buy mac10; buy hegrenade; buy vesthelm; buy dualelietes"

if you shoot a door and you end up shooting an enemy
if you shoot a wall and you end up shooting an enemy
whats the possibility of just randomly shoot and hit the enemy? 99.9?

Certain guns are a lot better at shooting through walls then others, the AWP on CS 1.5 used to be notorious for it. I aren't too sure what's good for it now, I can imagine the machine gun, seeing as it's a lot better in Source then it was in 1.5. =/.

The possibility of shooting and hitting an enemy isn't that slim at all.. Depends if they're stood there or not. Machine Gun is very usefull for this, Lol.

    Who knows.

Perhaps we'll be told how to fast weapon switch or the merits of using flashes next...?
