    cod4 Thread

Hi i am torn between which version to get cod4 on. i dont have the greatest pc but i am able to play it on medium quality and i get an fps of 30-45 on my agp system of 3.2 p4 northwood with 2gb ddr ram, and finaly a 7800gt agp 512mb card.

i also have a xbox 360 and many of my friends are getting it on there so it would be a blast online in the 360 plus i know for sure i will be playing it in the highest details possible without any fps drops.

which version do you guys think i should get? i have seen the graphics of the ps3 which looks far superior then the xbox and i was wondering is that how it will look on the pc too?the demo looked great but nothing like the ps3 version

For me its a trade off.

If I want the best, most suitable controls, I'd buy the PC version (which I will be doing).

If you want a cheaper and more guaranteed visually stunning experience, then go for a console version.

i'd also go pc and am 99% sure i will buy it

again my issue would be controls yes the 360 will look better but the mouse keyboard combo wins hands down for me,granted i have no issue with the looks on my system

but definitely the pc version plus there are likely to be more mods etc for the pc am not sure exactly what the cod modding scene is like but am hoping myself for some good ones

PC everytime for me, I just don't like FPS's on a console.

one note to take is the reliability of the console. if my 360 mess up again for the 5TH time i will be without cod4 for and my otehr games for over a month. at least with my pc i dont have to worry about rrod but then again i wont be joining the fun of playing with my mates on live

Getting the 360 version over the PC, really cba with PC gaming at the moment, all the bugs, the patches and so on. I'm not saying console games are perfect, but I'm done with wasting my time getting games to run how they should for now, at least until WAR is out

I love the friends list and the leaderboards as well on the 360.
