PC Games
I was looking at buying some new computer games to go with a new processor... My specs should, hopefuly, be something like this;
HD3650 (going up to a newer/better one when I have the money.. not anytime soon) 2GB Corsair RAM x3 8450 Phenom (or other new processor... use the thread in hardware if you want to suggest one) So... I was looking at thing like: Devil May Cry 4 Call of Duty 4 Halo Wars (have to wait awhile for this one though) Dungeon Siege 2 (Spent 72+ hours on DS1 on my older computer.... lots of going back and starting over on it) Titan Quest (with expansions) Dawn of War (with expansions) Age of Empires 3 (with expansion) Suggest away.. I play most games, but I want something with playback value.... If you tell me the sort of price it'll cost as well from amazon/play or something would be nice ![]() |

Re: PC Games
From the looks of things you're into the RTSs so you should really give Medieval 2 Total War a try, and probably Empire Total War once it's out.
And Defcon is a must as well. And Darwinia and Sins Of A Solar Empire while I remember. |

Re: PC Games
Yep.. some of them are a mere £50..
Of course, most of them aren't so outlandishly priced, but there's still one or two. And I've completed Oblivion.. and Shivering Isles.. but not Knight's of the Nine, as I don't have it. I don't think the cost is justifiable really.. not for a game that will only take me about 3 days to complete and maybe another 1 or 2 to complete on hardest (with a maxed out character... nothing like the impossible to wake you up in the morning) |

Re: PC Games
I'll third The Orange Box: 5 great games and a lot of great mods. CoD4 is great (I still have to pick that on up myself). Crysis is a blast, too, even if you have to run it on medium settings (throwing people through buildings and watching the building collapse = win).
Also, since you like strategy game,s check out Sins of a Solar Empire (it has a demo). |

Re: PC Games
Methinks that I'll buy the following:
Devil May Cry 4 (With a gamepad, from amazon it's only £35 combined... cheaper than elsewhere I've seen these two combined )Orange Box (For all those millions of Games) One or Two of the Total War series (dunno which one... depends on which one my friends are getting, as we often play multiplayer online) Then I'll get Crysis later on in the year when I've got more money to burn ![]() |
