What's Happinin In Gamin In 2009 Innit.

So peeparoonios, what are your simple, mammalian brains looking forward to playing in the year of our Lord 2009?

Recently I decided to flog off all the 360 games I didn't think I'll be playing again, here on HEXUS and on the vile swamps of eBay, taking advantage of the pre Xmas buying frenzy. Once I'd finished I was left with 1 game - GTA4. Everything else, from Fallout 3 to Fable 2 got well sold.

So I thought I'd return to my spiritual home of Nintendo gaming, and get a Wii to flesh out my gaming options. 360 and a Wii should compliment each other. 360 for games with explosions and ninjas in, Wii for games, erm, without explosions and ninjas in.

So anyway, what are we all looking forward to in the new year?

For me February is shaping up to be a good 'un.

The reason I kept GTA4 (apart from the fact it's one of the best games of the last 10 years) comes out in the shape of the Lost and the Damned DLC. I got 100% on GTA4 a while back, and it really needs some new content now. Rampaging around the city and using the cheats can only stay interesting for so long.

Also Street Fighter 4 comes out in Feb - that's a must buy for me. http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/940/940342p1.html

I might even get a nice arcade stick for it.

On the Wii front there's plenty already out to keep me busy, but 1 release that sticks out, also in February, is the re-release of Pikmin with new controls for use with the Wiimote. Pikmin is a classic and should be great with added Wiimotage.

What you lot looking forward to getinininin?

For me at the minute I am looking forward to 2 titles next year. Mafia 2, looking absolutely awesome as it stands and Ghostbusters which is also looking really good.

Looking forward to Killzone 2, played the beta and the MP plays really well but I'm still a bit sceptical about the single player. Rumours of GT5 being out next year but I'll be surprised if that happened. Also God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 are looking like they'll be decent, so looking forward to them too.

street fighter 4 for me.

mostly looking forward to getting my hands on some 2008 games on xmas day like star wars force unleashed.

also looking forward to supreme commander 2(not sure if it will be out in 09 though) and now my pc is back up to spec probably a few other pc games will crop up.

Dragon Age fo shizzles, but it could be the year of the RTS sequel - Dawn of War 2 and maybe StarCraft 2 and Supreme Commander 2.

Bioshock 2 mainly. Wanna play some of this years titles, left 4 dead, far cry 2, gta 4, gow 2 got most of them for christmas so...

For christmas I'm getting Gears 2 and Prince of Persia, should be fun .

Resident Evil 5
Alan Wake (lol... if ever)

Also want to play some of this years titles like Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead (demo was awesome) and stuff.
