    UT2004 still out tomorrow?

Just asking as I have had it on pre-order at play for awhile now and just checking this evening it's still down as pre-order. I was hopping they would have posted it by now for it to get to me Tomorrow.

Just can anyone confirm that it is out tomorrow so I can cancel the order at play and pop down my local shop and get it.

    Thanks

Lets face it - a couple of stores will get it and the rest won't get it until Monday due to "unprecedented delays."

Of late I've become increasingly skeptical of game release dates (can anybody say Half-life 2?)

some people already have their 6 cd version from play (supposedly)
heres a email i recieved from play today regarding my order of the game
    Hi there

Thank you for changing your details. Your card has now been accepted, and your order for 'Unreal Tournament' is released on the 19th March.

We do endeavour to dispatch pre-ordered new releases so that they are delivered on the date of release, but unfortunately we cannot avoid occasional delays passed on from our suppliers, or postal delays, which will in turn affect the arrival of your order.

We hope that this information helps.

    Kind regards

    Play
so it looks like its gonna be next week before i get my hands on a copy
still cant complain saved £8 on the shop price

Its such a good game ... its not worth its full price seeing as most of it they we're going to implement in UT2003 but didn't (Bulldog anyone) but for £18 its well worth it (but I suppose I'm a little biased, I am like the #1 Unreal fan )

The start to single player is ... weird.

I think they've got new level designers as the feel of the levels is quite different, more complex BSP less mesh if anything (step backwards ... ehy, lol). Everything seems good, graphics are pritty much the same to UT2003. Having some mouse issues, like jumpyness - dunno why tho, any ideas?

I enjoyed the UT2004 demo so I'll be trying to buy the DVD version since I don't fancy carrying about six CD's to LAN's. I've never bought the original or UT2003 so I'm new to the game and so far I really enjoy it. It's no BF1942 (in terms of gameplay options) but for deathmatching it's a lot of fun IMHO.

I ordered my dvd copy from play, at 9am this morning it has changed from pre-order to awaiting stock. I might cancel and get it somewhere else as I want to play it this weekend.

Well I can wait, ordered the DVD version as I cant be bothered to use 6 flipping CD's ... still awaiting stock for them. I'm patient.

Got my copy today from GAME Went into PC World first to be told they did not have any and then tried Toys R Us as it was next to PC World and they told me it had been put back until the 2nd of April Muppets.

You also get a coupon to claim £7.50 back you send off the receipt and disc one of UT2003
