    BF: Vietnam Problem

    Lo all,

I've been playing BF: Vietnam for a bout a week with no issues. However my new shuttle arrvied on friday, so I formatted the drive. The first thing I did was install BF: Vietnam, now It refuses to connect to an on-line server?>?> I can create a local game no problem. When I try to connect to an on-line server is nearly loads . . . but about a inch from completion (the loading bar) it goes to the desktop!! I'm running win2k, service pack 4 cat's 4.3, I dont think its a gfx issue because my mate can connect and he is using the same cats . .

    Any ideas??

    Cheers

Does single player work since re-installing?

    Try adding renderer.allowallrefreshrates 1 to videodefault.con?

Yeah single player works, I can host a multiplayer game . . . no firewall.

I've formatted again and now it works?!!

It was strange because even steam would error out . . . .
