far cry help ! dont work
got it today, fired up up on my xp2500m at 2445mhz....radeon 9700 pro and what ?
it installs and loads, but when the loading bar reaches the end it freezes  ive tried reinstalling drivers, direct x 9, and underclocking gfx and cpu but stil DONT work any ideas? annoying me now

I'm afraid I didn't have any of the apparently common issues with Far Cry that plagued so many people, so all I can suggest is visiting the official Tech Support forum:

www.farcry-thegame.com for the patch mate
Its worth bearing in mind that the first load after starting the game takes forevere as well The demo froze me out loads but the full game was fine

ive got the full version
one thing i can see from that site is, first running, and ive only got 256 ram, need some more really but i dont see why it shouldnt run

I found running medium settings meant less memory was used - and I have 512MB, so I feel sorry for anybody with less.
I was only on the demo btw. ------------------------------ |

probably, ive found out i need more ram
i tried my old 512 dead ddr dimm and it worked, but cpu would only run at 600mh\z (hmm) anyway, played better than it at 2445mhz and 256 ram ! ram is what i need, thanks
