Do US playstation games work on a English PS2?
Do US playstation games work on a English PS2?
Hi chaps a few kids I know who are very ill at the moment and awaiting operations have asked on a group email for PS2 games to borrow, as far as I can work out a friend in the USA has offered to send a big bundle, so the simple question is will they work? And if no is there anything I can do to the PS2 apart from a major mod? Thanks Jim |

i'm sure theres a action replay cart or something similar, that lets you play import games and it lets you play multi-region dvds as well.

far from chipping it or getting the action replay carts that will bypass the region settings there is nothing much else you can do apart from get an emulator for the pc.

action reply in the region of £25 - 50 depending on where and model you buy. A chip prolly around the region of £12 - 30 depending on model once again but some soldering may be needed.

look for a site called baldbouncer (all one word) he sells the chips he is fast and reliable to, always emails you to let you know how your order is doing if there are problems
