    Red Orchestra 2.0

Not sure if any of you lot played RO, but the UT2004 versio is due to be released today. Think is going to be at 22:00, but might be delayed. If your not aware what RO is about, its a WW2 FPS game that uses iron sights.

    Have a look
    http://redorchestramod.gameservers.net/
for details and hopefully later on the dload links.

yeah.. I was playing a couple of em on Saturday afternoon I think ..

It'll take a while for the new players to get into the swing of it.. alot of em are treatin the game as a DM and ignoring my 'need 2 more to cap' crys. But anyway, great to see the servers busy again

yea i've been playing RO since saturday, i downloaded it on a whim as i wanted to play UT with a different feel. went for what seemed like the most popular and i have to say i'm pretty impressed, despite the bugs. gives a very "battlefieds" atmosphere to the game, and its gonna be even better when tanks are encorperated.

whats the difference between 2.0 and the beta?

There is none, It's beta 2.0.. tis a good grin though. Quite alot of little bugs, but 2.01 isnt far away, with hopefully most of those sorted.

Im not sure if tanks will ever happen . The dev's want to keep it an Infantry based game, But..... Armoured personel carriers with heavy Mg's along with jeeps etc will be the kind of thing you will be seeing... hopefully

My clan has just got a server running, took us a while to upgrade our 1.2 server but finally got it sorted

    212.42.16.85:27200:27210 [o]Kryptic Korps RO [OwP]

It's a 20 man server located in the UK if you want good pings and a decnet size game as well and DonD is full. I play as JC[o]Arctic[OwP] atm, previously i played as [o]Arctic_Hysteria but ut2004 won't let me have a name that long

Also i'm now a member of the BETA testing team which is nice
