    MechWarrior5?

Just reading this E3 article http://www.netjak.com/review.php/620 and there is hint of a future MechWarrior title on the PC. I was worried they M$ had it as Xbox exclusive with the MechAssualt series but there is hope. Here is the quote from the article... not much to go on but better than nothing

I talked to the Microsoft-acquired FASA employees and they told me not to be too upset about the lack of MechWarrior on the PC and they were looking into something for the fans like me. Fair enough.

    That's definately good news!

I was getting worried as well that there were going to be no more MechWarriors for the PC, especially since MechWarrior is pretty unique - there's nothing quite like it.

I wish MS never had the licence for Mechwarrior / Battletech series of games
Mech4 could have been so much more
*wonders off to find mechwarrior 3*

I never got the MechWarrior series. I tried, but I just couldn't quite see the appeal. I loved Starsiege though, gutted they didn't make a sequel to that.

Mech3 was seriously over complicated, and hard. I prefered Mech2 series. By the time Mech4 came, it was a loss IMO.

been playing this since MW1 in all its wireframe glory, hope there is a 5th one as the 4th one with all the add-on's is getting tiresome, mastered most the decent mechs got about 100 custom made mechs and I am still getting bored of it, roll on v5 of MW

MW2 was great, MW3 was great, MW4 was average, MW4's bazillion **** expansion packs were absolute wank

    MechCommander 1 was absolute own...
MC2 was crap, had many many game crippling bugs and never even got a patch.

    Have no hopes for MW5.

Yeah, MW4 was utter pants... Loved all the others, played 'em all to death, but did about 2 missions on MW4 before realising it was cack... can't really put my finger on it, but it just wasn't any good.... Surprisingly, even when I put it up for sale at £10 while it was still full priced in the shops I still didn't manage to sell it!

Anyone still play mech 3 on the zone? I still float about there every now and then.

sorry what was the difference between any of these games???, mechwarrior 2 mercenaries had a graphics pack added to it that made it look pretty awesome and that was out about 5 years ago???.

I loved all the mw games, i don't see how if you like one that you dont like the others, they are all the same, joystick with left hand, aiming with right hand and mouse
