    Ferral's system
Been playing Thief 3 for a few days now, not a patch on Thief 2. Kinda feels like playing Deus Ex 2 with a different setting. Also don't like the menu system, its very consoley. One more thing is the way you sneak up on people to knock them out, instead of being able to hold the cosh in a position to strike he gives a quick swing so if you arnt in the right place you end up missing.

One big thing I noticed is when you knock people out and pick them up to hide them is that there is nothing onscreen to show you are holding them. On thief 2 you seen part of the body onscreen.

Not overly keen on it being a big fan of the origional 2, it shows that they have made it with the consoles in mind instead of thinking of the PC owners. Come back Looking Glass please

Nearly completed it, agreed it is consolefied but I do beleive it does do the other 2 Thief games justice. It could of been a LOT worse considering how bad of a job Ion Storm did on Deus Ex 2. Ferral you onto the Cradle level yet? If not its probably the most atmospheric and **** scary level I have ever played in any game. Have fun

I liked the demo very much. At first I hated it because the combat sucked and there was a very odd laggy feeling to movement. Then I figured out that Bloom is an evil son of a whore, turned it off, and the lag disappeared. After a while I discovered the new third person view and it just kept getting better and better. I'm quite tempted by it now.

Yea after playing it some more i DO like it, but i have a few gripes (too easy levels a bit small) its rekindled my addiction with thief 1&2 though, so they'll keep me going while i wait for the reviews
