Exclamation World of Warcraft European beta signup starting soon

    http://www.blizzard.co.uk/

Following the announcement of the European World of Warcraft team, we are pleased to report that the sign-up period for the European Beta Test will soon begin.

A link to the European beta test application will be provided on this page. Please keep in mind that testers will not be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis; applicants will be able to submit an application and receive equal consideration anytime during the sign-up period.

If you would like to learn more about the beta test, please read our European Beta Test FAQ here.
System spec recommended (for beta) starts with:
"A 56K or higher modem with an Internet connection and the ability to download at least 2 gigabytes of information."

I dread to think how long 2Gb would take at 56k!

MMORPG freak's are usually single and have no friends

Infact they usually have no lives! They live in a matrix-like pretend world of elves crabs buffs and nerfs. Nothing else matters untill the server goes down, and then they panic and some of them jump out of high windows and die.

Its a very sad affair really.

Aye thats the beauty of having a Long Distance Relationship but there are downsides as there are to most things.

Matrix Online sounds good - and I hope its better than that cack they released under the name of "enter the matrix"

what a load of rubbish that was to be frank - they tried too much to tie it with the game, and thought nothing about the gameplay by the look of it

Yea Enter The Matrix was tosh, just an effort to expand the storyline. Which sort of worked if you bothered to complete it.

I cant concentrate today thinking there will be some 6800 news any sec

What do you reckon the odds are of being picked?

Knight 1: We are now no longer the Knights who say Ni.
    Knight 2: NI.
    Other Knights: Shh...

SWG bored me quickly. I suddenly realised there is no point to the game and you may as well be playing offline. Kinda like City of Heroes.

That depends on what you are doing in the game really. My player is a master smuggler amoung other things, so I am interacting with other playing 90% of the time. But I do agree if you are just doing the shooting and fighting skill then it ca nget boring. Although the new patch next month will change the game quite a bit. There will be no more "grinding" involded, the path to jedi will be based on quests, rather than master the right 5 skills.
