What cerfication in planetside - in what order?

Hi,
Im getting back into planetside but Ive got problems working out what to get certification wise. So if anyone knows what I should spend my next 4 certs on pls let me know!

So far I have

Name ilotSprat
Side : NC Werner
Medium assault
Reaver/Mosquito
Sniper

I like sniper but you tend to die too quickly as you cant go prone in planetside so altho Ive got kills with it u really need a 2 man team as a the sniper rifle is a 2 shot kill weapon.

If I sell sniper what should I buy?

Ive tried max units and the AA one was good but the shotgun and anti vehicle are utter rubbish and max units tend to die too quickly so I dont really like max.

Either I think I should go for a lightening the light tank or Heaxy exosuit which allows me to carry 2 weapons. Or should I go heavy assault ? the Jackhammer tho is not really very good Ive tried it and its range is short, the rocket rifle seemed cool but had limited damage so any ideas what path I should take with the next 4 certs please let me know

Im trying to get weapons for most if not all situations.

Attacking CC's, Defending CC's, Anti-Air, Anti-Vech.

Ive found that Max's just have to be used with their sheilds (NC) and can be very useful.
Like making a wall with 2 + max's wth shields up, then move slowly forward with friendly troops firing nades over the top. I saw that work serval times last night.

But like anything if you go bursting through a doorway and come across 6 enemy - your gonna be fecked. but vs 1 or even vs 2 your gonna get em.

But if you come against an enemy with a big weapon (cough), doesnt have to be a Max, it'll be tough o matter how many of em there are.

Reinforced ExoSuit, then get heavy asssault. Jackhammer for close in, cant beat it IMHO, it was my weapon of choce when I pld last year. It still rocks.

And the rocket rifle thingy is great to spam with.

Anyway, just my 2p - I think the key is to use the right weapons in the right situations. And to find that out, you need to be playing for quite a bit. Its only been a week or so - still lots to learn / re-learn

btw what implant you using? Im using enhanced targeting - tis kewl

The implant Ive got is the one that drains your nrgy to shield you, perhaps advanced targeting is better can I sell my implant? Otherwise I think Ill go exo suit with more weapons sounds cool to me and more armour I think on those so I may last longer lol. Max I like but I havnt got ht egolden 5 points to get the multi so thats gonan wait for a bit. Btw is flibb now in Nordic Assault? I heard he was in an outfit but Im not atm so Im hoping to get in one you get alot of points that way.

Sniping was fun tho

I think Ill follow that route exo, then heavy assault sounds cool and I like being a member of the infantry especially if u get in those big base attacks where you can get out into some forest , we had a load of TD's trying to storm a bridge the other night well cool picking them off the bridge.

I was just editing my last post as you posted - But yes you can sell em. worth having a play and seeing what you like the best.

I think the pob with the Max's is that they look so hard, you think 'How the hell did I lose against him' - But the weapons these guys use, pack a real punch.

Multi - max is kewl, although I lost it last night to try different certs out.
Its nice being able to re-spawn as a max everytime and not have to wait 5mins if you die straight away. You cant spawn at the AMS though

Flibby baby has joined another outfit, dont know who but last night he said they where quite fun.

Nordic Assault are quite serious though, but very good, and I have a few friends in there, so its nice to catch up with em. I find that sometimes, if you in a Outfit squad you can be sitting around for ages hacking a base, not doing much where as sometimes you can be involved in the most amazing fire-fights. So its hit or miss.

Last night was very quiet, I was on for 1hr 45 mins, and got 6 kills

Anyway - Ill be on 2night for a bit before and after curry

Yeah good point on the max units but dammit I like lookin 'ard Ill sell the implant and try the targeting one as I dont use this one much tbh, u get hit..u get knackered...u die lol
Reaver is always gonna be a fave its ace and Ill get sniper back but for the mo its the infantry boy!!

For all the combinations you can have in Planetside right now it is spoiled by the dominace of one particular loadout.
Medium Assault, Heavy Assault, Reinforced Exosuit, Air Cavalry, Medical, Engineering, Personal Shield = win. That is just an unbeatable loadout and it does away with any sort of need for teamwork sadly. You even have 2 extra implant slots and 4 certification points.

Personally my role has always been Commander/Medic/Transport Driver.
These days I go around with Medium Assault, Special Assault, Reinforced Exosuit, Ground Transport, Advanced Medical, Advanced Hacking, Engineering, Dark light, Personal shield, Enhanced Targeting. Somehow its more satisfying going around with a group of friends as a support character even though you know you will loose to some idoit using the previous loadout.
