just started playing this again as it's a top game, i see there are a few mods out there has anyone tried any ? or know of any of the good ones?

also what other games are like this as i quite like the style!

it's a good game, you get a shotgun early on and get stuck in quite quick! where in a lot of games you have a crap gun for about an hour and no bad guys to swat!

Got it for £3.99 at the local WH Smiths. The bullet time is cool, but I find myself reloading a lot as I die!

Max Payne 1 & 2 are both truely excellent games. I just loved bullet time and the excellent choice of weapons. Dual Ingrams

there's apparently a nude mod for monica in max payne 2 as i was informed last night while rather drunk.

Its an awesome game though, runs everything fully at 1280 * 1024 smooth as a freshly waxed bikini line covered in baileys And finally you can have dual desert eagles

Awesome games both of them. When i completed it it said "Max Payne will return...." or something similar, which is cool.

Only problem i have with the games is that they are so short!!

Really do love these 2 games though. Excellently put together i think, even though people criticise them for being far to linear.

Its an incredibly good looking game that doesnt require a monster to run it. I have it running 1280x1024x32 all settings mazed AA AF (everything in ati panel optimum) and the framerate is larger than a genetically modified britney spears induced trouser tent.

I love the bullet time feature- i just wish there werent these stupid dream levels

Im skipping cutscenes generally because i just want to play the game.

philistine. Half the greatness is the graphic novel and the cutscenes - you're only allowed to skip them once you've played it through eight times, and you can quote every Vlad line from memory.

yes there is a nude mod, kind of sad but crawling and jump were never so interesting

yeah i only have a 9200 rad and it runs fine! on the max payne web site there is a 'mods' page, seem like there are a few good ones there

only skipping them after watching them... what i said was referring to the demo sectioned that i already played.. at least 20 times
