At about the level of the 3rd rocket trigen there is like a hillock & there is a fallen tree over the lava stream. Cross & go further up the hill to next lava stream. You will have to jump but again there is a bit where the rock sticks out partway across. |

There is an easy way to do this and keep the buggy.
Its a while since i did this but I think if you turn off the broken bridge up the hill towards the trigens and turn right immediatly before you hit the first trigen, you should be abvle to jump the lava and get back on the track without being touched by the trigens/phatboys. This means you can drive up the track avoiding yet more trigens etc untill you meet a jeep coming towards you. Then you can take out the jeep etc

Turkster is correct. You can actually take the buggy that is on the broken bridge all the way to the buildings at the end of the track - you need to make two jumps over lava streams iirc. But you'll miss picking up the sniper rifle which is up on the hill above the buildings, I think.

Yup Buff, me too, I like a sneaky approach, but one of the great things about Far Cry is that on many of the levels you can choose to sneak or just go b**** to the walls. A good example is River which the first time I played I slowly, slowly worked my way down the river, getting out of my boat, creeping along the banks and taking out every single enemy. Took a long time. The second time I collared myself a fast patrol boat and just just hammered down the river, took a flying jump over the pontoon bridge outran the helicopter and got to the end zone with the big transporter plane without hardly firing a shot. Great fun.
