    Tis not a dog. It's a robot. You have to follow one in the beginning of the game to find the missing scientist. They seem a bit superfluous, I bet them spider zombie things are supposed to be the undead version of these robots.

    To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

    Yeh that's those robot dog type things. There's loads of them throughout the game supposedly even from the very beginning.
